Copenhagen and Nuuk

The Arctic Research Center (Aarhus University) is participating in the study  “Arctic Training” commissioned by the European Defence Agency and led by Wise Pens International<http://www.wisepens.com/>, a European consultancy specialising in maritime security policy and advice. Cécile Pelaudeix from ARC is leading  WP1.


The aim of the study is to provide recommendations on the establishment of a European training platform to prevent risks and provide response to disasters arising from changing Arctic conditions and new activities (industrial activities, shipping, tourism, offshore oil and gas activities…).


The two meetings will take place:
