Title: “Practicing interdisciplinarity: reflections on colaborabories and hegemonies”.

Interdisciplinarity is hardly a new kid on the academic block, but is in some circles the black of the season: hyped, talked about, and somewhat ephemeral.

Based on experiences of interdisciplinarity, (from Arctic research and from cognitive science), I will explore interdisciplinarity as a special case of a more general phenomenon: co-construction  at the interface between knowledge traditions.

The Arctic Seminars is a forum for interdisciplinary discussions on research perspectives in the Arctic region. The presenters in the Seminar series come from a variety of disciplines across the four faculties involved in ARC.

All interested are welcome to participate. There will be coffee and tea during the seminar.
