Atmosphere (1)

Focus on development of cloud formation particles from iodine and microbial particles through process studies field measurements and upscaling.

Land/limnic (2)

One part focusing on terrestrial environments, and one focusing on aquatic environments.

Ice and ocean (3)

The focus is to examine the role of sea ice, glaciers and permafrost on the physical, chemical and biological conditions in Arctic Seas.

Geoscience (4)

The focus is on contaminants in the earth system as well as and the range of research topics linked to the analyses of sediments.

New technologies (5)

The focus is on how research can stimulate innovation, enhancing the two-way communications between our scientific and engineering teams and the practical implementation of the science and technology targeted directly at economic development in both Denmark, Greenland and internationally.

Education (6)

The ARC education team will create exceptional education program in the area of Arctic sciences through a coordinated approach to course and curriculum development, creation of teaching resources, and designing of field schools.
