Submission period: The submission period opens on 15 June. Deadlines are as follows: 
·        Sessions: 13 September 2026
·         Talks: 15 October 2026
·         Posters: 1 November 2026 

Format: sessions, talks, and posters. Alternative sessions such as storytelling, art-based contributions, and workshops are also possible.

The themes identified for the Arctic Biodiversity Summit are:  
·        Address individual stressors and cumulative effects of stressors and drivers of Arctic biodiversity loss, including the latest knowledge on the status and trends for Arctic Biodiversity 
·        Promote Sustainable use of Arctic biodiversity 
·        Advance enabling conditions to support implementation of actions 

Registration: Will open in August 2026. We are also pleased to share that a number of registration spots will be reserved for participants from Arctic States, Permanent Participants, and Working Groups.
