Talk on: “Ubiquitous sources of PFAS in the environment”
Ph.D. student Viktoria Müller from University of Graz, Austria, is visiting next week and will give a talk on “Ubiquitous sources of PFAS in the environment” on September 12th, 10.15-11.00, in AUD II (1514-110) at Department of Chemistry.
Abstract: Per - and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) also known as forever chemicals are important industrial materials used in a variety of commodities starting from non-stick pans to firefighting foams. However, what makes them so appealing to the industry, can be detrimental to the environment.
